Embark in Aswan on a Wednesday for 3 nights to Luxor or a 7-night round trip, or in Luxor on a Saturday for 4 nights to Aswan or a 7-night round trip. 02Overview
A first look
The Nile moves quietly past the sun deck, with palm-lined banks and low villages appearing beyond the rail. Aboard Royal Beau Rivage, the pool and lounge offer a pause between time on the river and visits ashore, while the dining room and bar give the vessel an easy, social rhythm.
Our Egyptologists bring the temples into focus, from the columns of Karnak Temple to the riverside setting of Kom Ombo. Shore excursions also reach Edfu, Philae, Luxor Temple and the Valley of the Kings. We select and arrange the cruise and sightseeing, so the details on the ground are coordinated before you travel.

Accessibility
Who can join this
Nile cruising reduces the need to change hotels, but the vessel and shore excursions still involve physical demands. Access between decks may require stairs, and cabins, dining areas, the lounge bar, and sun deck may not be step-free. Boarding can involve a sloped gangway whose angle changes with the river level. Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae include uneven stone, sand, steps, and exposed walking routes. Wheelchair users and guests with limited mobility should request an accessibility review before booking. A collapsible wheelchair may be more practical than a powered model, subject to cabin and gangway dimensions.
– Responsible travel
How we travel here
The cruise uses a river vessel for travel between Luxor and Aswan, reducing the need for separate road transfers between the listed Nile destinations. Shore excursions are arranged through the vessel’s local program and use local guides, drivers, and site services where required. Discovery Tours Egypt is a licensed Egyptian tour operator that selects and books the cruise, while the cruise line owns and operates the vessel. Waste, water, fuel, and air-conditioning practices vary by vessel and are not presented as independently certified. Guests can help by carrying a reusable water bottle where permitted, avoiding single-use plastics, and purchasing crafts or refreshments from established local businesses.
