What travelers say ·
38 verified reviews.The honest 4.6, not a rounded five.
Some operators show you a wall of five-star quotes and hope you don't check. We'd rather link you straight to the source. Below are three reviews from real trips, the split across both platforms, and buttons to read every last one – including the ones that aren't perfect.

The split, unedited
Two platforms. We publish both scores.
- 5.0

- 4.6

“Every transfer, every guide, every hotel pickup was on time. You feel like you're in the hands of people who actually live and breathe Egypt – because they do.”
Brooke G.★★★★★
“I worked with Discovery Tours to host a group trip to Egypt and it was seamless from beginning to end. Hassany was a great coordinator and helped tailor the trip perfectly.”
Lena S.★★★★★
“Our guide Mohamed went above and beyond to make our time in Egypt special. We said goodbye to a friend at the end. Totally recommend booking with Discovery.”

The fair questions
What people ask about our reviews.
01Are these reviews real?
Yes, every one. The quotes on this page are pulled from our Tripadvisor and Google profiles – both linked above so you can read them in full, in context, alongside the ones we didn't feature. We don't write our own reviews and we don't buy them. If a review is on this page, it was left by someone who travelled with us.
02Why only 38 reviews after 38 years?
Because most of our business has always come by word of mouth and repeat clients, long before Tripadvisor and Google existed – and because we've only recently started asking departing guests to leave one. Volume is climbing. We'd rather show you 38 genuine reviews than pad the number with anything we can't stand behind.
03Why is the Google score lower than Tripadvisor?
Google sits at 4.1, Tripadvisor at 5.0. We publish both and average them honestly to 4.6 rather than quietly dropping the lower one. A perfect score across the board is usually a sign someone's curating; a real operator picks up the occasional 3-star and leaves it up.
04Can I leave a review after my trip?
Please do – it genuinely helps a small Egyptian company more than you'd think. Both platforms are linked at the top of this page. An honest review, good or critical, is worth more to us than a glowing one we had to ask twice for.
05Do you respond to critical reviews?
Yes, on-platform and by name. When something falls short we'd rather answer it in the open than hide it. You can see how we handle the less-than-perfect ones on our Google and Tripadvisor profiles.
Travelled with us already? A review helps a small Egyptian company more than you'd think. Haven't yet? Tell us your dates and we'll write back within a working day.
