Drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel by road, a 280 km transfer taking about 3.5–4 hours each way. Our Egyptologist accompanies the transfer and guides you at both temples: the Great Temple of Ramesses II and the Small Temple of Nefertari. We normally depart before sunrise (around 3:00–3:30 AM) so you arrive for morning light and cooler temperatures; expect roughly two hours on site. Private felucca sail on the Nile in Aswan, arranged at your preferred time–sunset, morning, or daytime. We use sail-only feluccas crewed by experienced local sailors; we don't run motorboat group excursions. Unlike motorboat trips, felucca speed depends on the wind; sails are quieter but timing and distance can change.
