On The Ground

What a destination management company in Egypt actually handles.

Own-fleet airport transfer vehicle, Egypt

Airport & inter-city transfers

Own fleet and vetted drivers across Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheikh — meet-and-assist, VIP fast-track and long-haul road transfers.

Licensed Egyptologist guiding

Salaried, multilingual guides — many with 20+ years at the same sites. Not a marketplace of freelancers hot-swapped at booking.

Nile cruise vessel contracted for trade allotment

Nile cruises & dahabiyas

Allocation and contracting across standard, deluxe, ultra-deluxe and small-boat dahabiya vessels — plus Lake Nasser sailings — at net trade rates.

Hotels, MICE & events

Contracted rooming, group blocks, incentive programs, conferences and bespoke events, coordinated by a dedicated MICE desk.

Red Sea resort ground services

Weekly arrivals handling across Sharm, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, El Gouna, Makadi, Soma Bay and Sahl Hasheesh for tour-operator series.

24/7 in-destination duty office

A real operations desk inside Egypt, in your travelers' time zone, resolving issues same-day — not a ticket logged with an overseas office.

Why Trade Partners Contract Us Directly

An Egypt DMC that operates — not one that resells.

We operate — or trust a partner we've known for years
Most of the transfers, guides and cruise allocations are our own. Where we do bring in a partner, it's one we've worked with for years and hold to our standard — never an unknown subcontractor picked on price. Plenty of names on page one of “Egypt DMC” searches are directories or MICE brokers who quietly farm the ground work out; we either run it ourselves or vouch for whoever does.
38 years, same family ownership
A destination management company in Egypt since 1988 — no holding-company churn, no rotating account managers. The people who quote your series still run it.
Category A licensed & accredited
ETAA Licence No. 718, Category A — the top Egyptian tourism classification — plus IATA accreditation #90255546. Both checkable in public registers, and the certificates go out on request. Contractual accountability, not a marketplace disclaimer.
Six offices, one operator
Cairo HQ plus Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheikh — nationwide ground control under a single operations team.

How It Works

Five steps from first email to ground delivery.

  1. Step 1

    Register at dmcegypt.com

Tell us your market, typical group size and the kind of programs you sell — leisure, MICE, or both.

  2. Step 2

    Sample itinerary & net rates

Our trade desk builds a real sample series against your dates, not a generic rate sheet, so you can price it to your client before committing.

  3. Step 3

    Contracting

Standard trade terms, allotment or on-request depending on volume, invoiced in your preferred currency where possible.

  4. Step 4

    Ground delivery

The same team that quoted the series runs it — transfers, guiding, cruise allocation, hotel rooming — coordinated from our six offices.

  5. Step 5

    24/7 duty office

One in-country desk for the whole trip, not a different contact per supplier.

Trade FAQ

Common questions from agents and operators.

Is Discovery Tours Egypt a DMC?

Yes. Discovery Tours Egypt is a destination management company (DMC) in Egypt holding ETAA Licence No. 718, Category A — the top Egyptian tourism classification — and IATA accreditation #90255546, operating inbound ground services since 1988. Trade partners contract with our dedicated B2B arm at dmcegypt.com.

What does an Egypt DMC do for travel agents and operators?

A destination management company in Egypt handles the in-country operation on behalf of overseas agents and operators: airport transfers, licensed guiding, Nile cruise and hotel allocation, MICE and events, and 24/7 duty-office support — delivered at net trade rates so the selling agent keeps their margin.

How do agents get net rates and a partnership?

Trade pricing, contracting and agent onboarding are handled by our B2B property, dmcegypt.com. Register there and the trade desk responds with net rates, sample series pricing and contracting terms — separate from our consumer booking channel.

Which destinations does the DMC cover in Egypt?

Ground operations run nationwide from six offices — Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm El Sheikh — covering the Nile Valley, Abu Simbel and Lake Nasser, Alexandria, and the full Red Sea resort coast for weekly tour-operator arrivals.

What group sizes and MICE volumes can you handle?

Our own fleet is 58 vehicles, around 1,000 seats, and that is what we control directly. Beyond it we can call on 5,000+ seats through partner fleets we've used for years, and reach 15,000+ hotel rooms and cruise cabins through our contracts, direct relationships and bed banks. So a single incentive group and a multi-coach conference series scale on the same operation — and we'll always tell you which part of a programme is our own vehicles and which is a partner's.

How quickly can you respond to a weekly arrivals series?

Weekly Red Sea and Nile Valley series are a regular part of what we run, not a one-off request — most operator programs are contracted and confirmed within a normal trade cycle once a sample itinerary and dates are shared.
