What a private transfer actually is
The first hour in a country sets the tone for the trip. Cairo airport at 2am, after a ten-hour flight, is not where you want to be learning the going rate to your hotel. A private transfer removes the whole negotiation: a named driver is already waiting past the baggage hall, holding a board with your name, in a car whose price was agreed before you left home.
We run transfers in the six cities most trips actually use – Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam – with drivers our offices know by name. The driver watches your flight, so an early landing or a three-hour delay changes nothing: someone is there when you walk out. It's the least glamorous part of a trip and the one that goes wrong most often, which is exactly why we don't hand it to a rank outside the terminal.

Private door-to-door transfer from your Aswan hotel to your Luxor hotel, approximately 3.5 hours by modern air-conditioned vehicle, with optional temple stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu along the way.
Sharm El Sheikh Airport to Hotel – Private Transfer
Private airport transfer from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH) to any Sharm hotel, door-to-door. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and our driver meets you in arrivals with a name card. We only operate private door-to-door transfers; we do not run shared coach shuttles. Unlike hotel shuttle counters, our price is fixed and includes flight monitoring and luggage assistance. Typical transfer times: Naama Bay ≈8 km, about 20 minutes; Nabq ≈25 km, about 35–45 minutes depending on traffic. Vehicles are air-conditioned sedans (up to three passengers) or minivans for larger groups; advise us in advance for oversized sports equipment.
Sharm El Sheikh Hotel to Sharm El Sheikh Airport Transfer
Private transfer from Sharm El Sheikh hotels to Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH), timed to your flight and available for arrivals or departures. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator, we supply an English-speaking driver who meets you in the hotel lobby with a name card, assists with luggage, and uses an air-conditioned private sedan or minivan. We monitor flight times and adjust pickups for delays. We offer only private, point-to-point transfers; we do not place guests on mixed coach shuttles. Unlike many resort shuttle services, our driver brings you directly to the terminal curb and handles short-term parking formalities. Trade-off: coastal-road traffic at peak times between Naama Bay and the airport can add 20–40 minutes, so allow extra time for evening departures. Provide your flight number and mobile contact when booking; we confirm pickup details the day before travel.
Luxor to Aswan Private Hotel Transfer
This private transfer moves you from any Luxor hotel to any Aswan hotel by air-conditioned vehicle in approximately 3.5–4 hours over about 220 km. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator we provide a vetted driver, insured vehicle, and single-party door-to-door service. We don’t run group buses; your transfer departs to suit your schedule and can include requested stops at Edfu or Kom Ombo (entrance fees and extra time apply). Trade-offs: the Nile corridor road can be uneven in places and there is no onboard toilet; rest-stop breaks are included on request. Your driver meets you in the hotel lobby holding a Discovery Tours Egypt name card.
Transfer: Luxor Cruise/Hotel to Luxor Downtown
Private transfers between Luxor cruise docks and downtown hotels, booked door-to-door and timed to your cruise or hotel schedule. We arrange pickups at the cruise gangway or in your hotel's lobby; our drivers meet you with a name card and assist with luggage. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and do not consolidate passengers from multiple ships into one shuttle; each booking receives its own vehicle. Compared with ship-run shuttles, this reduces unexpected stops and lineup delays. Trade-off: during peak embarkation or early-morning temple traffic, port exits and city bridges can add a 10–25 minute delay.
Luxor to Hurghada Private Transfer
Private door-to-door road transfer between Luxor and Hurghada covers approximately 290 km and takes about 3 hours 45 minutes. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator; our English-speaking drivers meet you at your Luxor hotel, train station, or the Nile quay and handle luggage. We run only private transfers – we do not schedule shared shuttle minibuses that add frequent stops and extend travel time. Unlike group shuttles, we set your pickup time and limit stops to one 15-minute comfort break. Trade-offs: the drive is long, desert heat can be intense, and shade or modern facilities are limited at smaller stops. Vehicle options include sedans, SUVs and minivans; baggage policy discussed at booking.
Transfer: Luxor Airport → Luxor Downtown
Private transfer from Luxor International Airport (LXR) to Luxor downtown. The airport is about 6.5 km from Luxor downtown; the drive typically takes 15–20 minutes. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name card, assists with luggage and escorts you to an air-conditioned sedan or minivan. We provide sedans for 1–3 passengers and minivans for 4–8 passengers; child seats and additional stops are available on request. We don't use third-party meet-and-greet agents; our drivers are part of our team and we monitor flights until pickup. Unlike hailing a meter taxi on arrival, this transfer provides a fixed price and flight-aware pickup. During peak arrival windows the drive can extend to 30 minutes. Luxor Downtown to Luxor Airport Transfer (Private)
Private transfer from Luxor downtown to Luxor International Airport, approximately 6 km (15–20-minute drive). Our driver meets you in your hotel lobby with a name card and loads luggage. We send one vehicle per booking and drive directly to departures, not via other pickups. We provide an air-conditioned sedan for up to three passengers or a minivan for groups and oversized bags. Unlike shared shuttles, we do not combine bookings, which reduces wait times before your flight. If you carry oversized sports gear, request a minivan in advance; sedans have limited trunk space. Private door-to-door transfer from Hurghada to Luxor, approximately 290 km and 3.5–4 hours by road. We pick up from Hurghada hotels or Hurghada International Airport (HRG) and drop you at central Luxor addresses. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and provide an English-speaking driver, luggage assistance, and insured vehicles. We do not run shared coach transfers; every booking is private and follows a direct route. Unlike scheduled shuttles or flights, this is a single, uninterrupted road transfer without check-in queues. Trade-offs: the drive crosses long desert highway stretches and standard sedans have limited luggage space–book a minivan for three or more adults or heavy bags.

01How much is an airport transfer in Egypt?+
Less than the uncertainty of sorting it on arrival. Fares are fixed and quoted up front for the whole car, not per person – a Cairo airport-to-hotel transfer is a small fraction of a day's touring, and you know the figure before you fly. Send us your route and we'll price it exactly.
02What happens if my flight is delayed?+
Nothing changes for you. We track your flight from the moment you book, so the driver's timing follows the plane – early, late or diverted. You won't pay extra for a delay that isn't your fault, and someone is still holding your name when you walk out.
03Will the driver meet me inside the airport?+
Yes. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, past passport control and baggage claim, holding a board with your name. It's a proper meet-and-greet, not a kerbside pickup or a pin dropped on a map.
04Are your drivers English-speaking?+
Our airport drivers speak working English – enough to greet you, confirm your hotel and handle the basics. They're vetted by the local office, drive licensed air-conditioned cars, and know the city rather than just following a sat-nav.
05Can you do transfers between cities or to a Nile cruise?+
Yes. As well as airport runs we cover hotel-to-hotel, hotel-to-cruise-dock and resort-to-resort transfers – Luxor airport straight to your ship's gangway, or Hurghada across to a Nile cruise port. Tell us the two points and we'll fix the fare.
06Do you have child seats and larger vehicles?+
Both. Child and booster seats are free on request – just tell us the ages. For families and groups we send a minivan or a small coach instead of a sedan, priced the same fixed way, so the whole party and the luggage travel together.
