02Overview
A first look
By late afternoon, the Nile carries the soft sounds of river traffic past the sun deck, while the limestone banks turn gold beyond your panoramic window. Radamis II Nile Cruise gives you a calm base between shore excursions, with graded cabins, a lounge bar, and a dining room for unhurried meals after time ashore.
Our Egyptologists bring each site into context, and we arrange the embarkation, disembarkation, cabin booking, and shore-excursion details through a licensed Egyptian tour operator.

Accessibility
Who can join this
This cruise involves regular embarkation and disembarkation via a ship gangway, which normally includes a short flight of steps and a narrow ramp area. Onboard public areas and most cabins are reached by stairs between decks; elevators are uncommon on Nile cruisers and may not be available. Shore excursions include walking on uneven ancient stone, stepped tomb entrances, sandy riverbank approaches and cobblestone streets, with some sites offering long staircases and limited shade. Wheelchair users should note that full step-free access is rarely available on standard Nile vessels, and transfers between ship and shore may require assistance. If you require mobility help, a dedicated ground assistant and adapted vehicle can often be arranged in advance, but please contact us at booking so we can confirm specific ship and port capabilities. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and will provide accurate, up-to-date accessibility details for the specific cruiser assigned to your booking.
– Responsible travel
How we travel here
The vessel uses marine diesel engines typical of Nile cruisers and sails the river on weekly schedules between Luxor and Aswan. On the ground, we book air-conditioned, modern coaches or vans for transfers and excursions; we ask partners to maintain Euro-equivalent emissions standards when available. We source fresh produce, bread and other perishables from local markets and bakers in Luxor and Aswan, which supports local suppliers and keeps food miles low. Crew and excursion teams are locally employed; gratuities paid on board and to Egyptologists remain with Egyptian staff. Waste handling varies by vessel; we ask cruise partners to segregate recyclables where ship facilities allow, and to avoid incineration of mixed waste. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator, we review partner practices before confirmation and prefer vessels that keep passenger density moderate rather than maximizing cabin count, because lower guest numbers reduce per-person resource use and shore-party impacts.

The vessel offers full-board accommodation, a sun deck with pool and bar, a spa and massage room, a library, and a boutique. Shore visits run in small groups, maximum eight participants, which reduces time spent waiting at temple entrances.
