02Overview

A first look

By dawn, the Nile's surface is a ribbon of glinting copper as the Zeina slips past reed beds and village feluccas, the sun deck warming underfoot and the lounge bar filling with the smell of fresh coffee. Onboard, cabins range from Standard with panoramic windows to Suites with Nile-view balconies, the dining room serving full board meals, a small pool on deck, and a relaxed program of talks and informal evenings suited to slow travel on the river.

The vessel sails weekly in both directions between Luxor and Aswan, and the shore-excursion program alternates temple visits with sailing days. We arrange embarkation and disembarkation in Luxor or Aswan, our Egyptologists guide the excursions, and Discovery Tours Egypt is a licensed Egyptian tour operator handling all bookings and practicalities.
