Board at Luxor and enjoy lunch on board before visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank.

Explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then begin sailing south towards Edfu.

Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu and the double temple at Kom Ombo, then sail on to Aswan.

Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk. An optional flight or drive to Abu Simbel can be arranged.

Board your Nile cruiser at Luxor and settle into your cabin over lunch. In the afternoon visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex of ancient Egypt, and Luxor Temple on the East Bank.

Cross to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. The vessel then begins sailing south towards Edfu.

Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, then sail on to Kom Ombo and its double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan, where the ship moors for the night.

The ship lies moored at Aswan. Guests visiting Abu Simbel leave before dawn, by road or by air, for the two rock temples Ramesses II cut into the cliff, returning aboard around midday. The afternoon is at leisure on board.

After breakfast, disembark at Aswan. The morning then covers Aswan itself: the High Dam, the Temple of Isis at Philae reached by motor launch, and the granite Unfinished Obelisk, before your onward transfer.

Children 0 to 5.99 years travel free; children 6 to 11.99 years pay 50% of the adult price; children 12 years and older pay the full adult price. Children must share a cabin with their parents, with a maximum of one child per cabin. Two or more children require their own cabin. Cots are subject to availability on board and should be requested at booking. Strollers are practical on the vessel but can be cumbersome at some embarkation points and archaeological sites where there are steps and uneven surfaces.

Who can join this
The vessel and its excursions require a moderate level of mobility. Boarding and disembarkation typically use gangways with steps and handrails; some ports have ramps but not all. Cabins are accessed by internal staircases on many boats, and only a limited number of vessels have elevator access to all decks. Shore excursions include uneven ancient stone, narrow tomb passages, steep steps and sandy surfaces, for example at the Valley of the Kings and Philae Temple. Wheelchair users should notify us at booking so we can request a suitable cabin and arrange assistance, but full independent wheelchair access cannot be guaranteed on every vessel or at every site. Service animals are accepted with advance notice. If you require a wheelchair-accessible cabin or specialised assistance, please contact us before booking so we can confirm availability and make necessary arrangements.

We work with cruise lines and on-the-ground suppliers that prioritize local procurement and lower-impact transport. Shore excursions use modern, air-conditioned coaches supplied by local Egyptian transport companies, typically Mercedes or MAN models fitted with GPS and emission controls. On board, vessels generally operate on mains electricity while in port and generator power while sailing, and we encourage partners to follow fuel-efficiency maintenance schedules. Catering sources fresh produce from regional markets in Luxor and Aswan where available, which supports local farmers and reduces food miles. Housekeeping follows a linen and towel reuse program when offered by the vessel, and single-use plastics are limited where the cruise line has alternatives. Port fees, crew wages and local guide contracts are paid to Egyptian suppliers, which directs revenue to local communities. If you have specific sustainability requirements, tell us at booking and we will request supplier confirmations.
