1. 01 How long is the drive from Luxor to Aswan?

   The drive from Luxor to Aswan is approximately 220 kilometers and takes about 3.5–4 hours without stops. Traffic, periodic police checkpoints, or road works can extend the journey; we build extra time into your pickup. If you want temple stops en route, plan for additional hours. We use the main Nile-side road rather than minor desert tracks for reliability.
2. 02 Can we stop at Kom Ombo or Edfu on the way?

   Yes; we can schedule stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu temples en route, with a guide and entrance permissions arranged. Each temple typically requires 60–90 minutes to visit properly, so two stops add roughly 2–4 hours to the transfer. Entrance fees and guide services are charged separately unless you book a transfer-with-stops package. Temple opening hours and Ramadan timings affect scheduling, so we confirm times before travel.
3. 03 What vehicle will you provide for a private transfer?

   We provide an air-conditioned private vehicle–typically a sedan for two passengers or an SUV/minivan for larger groups. All vehicles have seat belts and are serviced to local standards; baby seats are available on request. We do not run shared shuttle vans–these transfers are private door-to-door. Tell us the number of passengers and pieces of luggage so we assign the right vehicle.
4. 04 Will the driver speak English and meet us at the hotel?

   Your driver will meet you in your hotel lobby and typically speaks basic English. If you prefer a fluent English-speaking guide to accompany the journey, we can arrange one for an extra fee. The driver will hold a name card and our local office provides a contact number for day-of coordination. We include a short complimentary waiting period; extended waiting incurs an additional charge.
5. 05 What are the luggage limits for this transfer?

   Most private cars carry two medium suitcases and two pieces of hand luggage; minivans accommodate larger loads. If you have oversized equipment (bicycles, surfboards, extra cases), tell us in advance so we can supply a larger vehicle or roof carrier. Failure to advise us may require a second vehicle on the day. We recommend packing valuables and travel documents in hand luggage.
6. 06 Can you meet us at Luxor train station or Luxor Airport instead of our hotel?

   Yes – we can meet you at Luxor train station, Luxor International Airport, or any address in the city at the agreed time. Please send arrival times and train/flight numbers in advance so we track delays and plan pickup. Late-night or very early pickups may incur a small surcharge. Pickups from Nile cruise boats or temple moorings require extra coordination and local permits.
