The arrival
Arriving at Aswan International Airport
Aswan is the gentlest arrival in Egypt, and the airport sits about twenty-five minutes south of the corniche. The transfer is short, but it's the kind of place where a pre-arranged car matters most – many guests land to start or finish a Nile cruise, or to make an early run at Abu Simbel, and the timing has to work.
We meet you by name past the baggage hall and drive you to a riverside hotel, an island-resort launch, or straight to your ship. If Abu Simbel is on the plan, we'll have the car and guide ready for the early start south. As everywhere, we track the flight, so an early landing or a delay simply moves the pickup with it.

How it works

Book with your flight number
Send us your arrival flight and your hotel or cruise dock. We price the transfer up front – one fixed fare for the whole car, not per person and not per bag.
We track the flight
From the moment you book, your landing time is ours to watch. Early, late or diverted, the driver's schedule moves with the plane.
Met by name at arrivals
Past passport control and baggage, your driver is in the hall holding a board with your name.
Door to door
A private, air-conditioned car straight to your door – bottled water on board, child seats if you need them, and a driver who knows the roads.

Aswan Hotel/Cruise to Aswan Airport Transfer
We provide private transfers from Aswan hotels or Nile cruise boats to Aswan International Airport (ASW), typically a 15–25 minute drive from central Aswan. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator, we meet you at your hotel lobby or the cruise gangway with a named driver and a name card. We do not run mass-coach transfers; every vehicle serves only your booking, unlike many cruise-collection shuttles. If your pickup is from a moored cruise, allow an additional 20–40 minutes for tendering, dock formalities and luggage transfer. We provide sedans for singles and couples and MPVs or minivans for larger groups; early-morning or late-night flights may carry a surcharge. We assist with porterage and airport check-in guidance, but airline check-in times and security queues remain outside our control.
Aswan Airport transfer to Aswan hotel or Nile cruise
Private transfer from Aswan International Airport (ASW) to your hotel or Nile cruise berth, arranged by our licensed Egyptian tour operator. ASW is about 16 km from Aswan city center and the drive typically takes 25 minutes. We meet you in the arrivals hall with a name card, assist with immigration and luggage, and drive you in an air-conditioned sedan or minivan. We do not run shared coach shuttles; every transfer is private and timed to your flight. Note: late-night arrivals sometimes incur a small surcharge – we confirm any extra fee at booking.
Aswan Hotel/Cruise to Aswan Train Station Transfer
Private transfer from Aswan hotels or Nile cruise docks to Aswan Train Station. We arrange a licensed Egyptian tour operator private car, driver meet-and-assist, and luggage help. We do not run shared coach drop-offs for city rail connections; most clients prefer a private vehicle to guarantee timely arrival for train departures. Transfers typically take 10–25 minutes depending on pier location and traffic. Sedan (up to 3 passengers) and minivan (4–8) options are standard; larger vehicles available on request. Note: station queues and platform access are managed by passengers; night or early-morning departures may incur a surcharge.
Aswan Train Station → Hotel & Nile Cruise Transfer
Private transfer from Aswan Train Station to your Aswan hotel or Nile cruise pier; our driver meets you in the arrivals concourse with a name card. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and we monitor scheduled train arrivals so drivers adjust to delays. We do not run shared shuttle services; every transfer is private and door-to-door. Sedans accommodate up to three passengers and minivans carry larger parties; luggage assistance is provided. Be aware that some cruise piers require a short walk over uneven stone and narrow streets can add a few minutes. Driver gratuities are not included.
Luxor to Aswan Private Hotel Transfer
This private transfer moves you from any Luxor hotel to any Aswan hotel by air-conditioned vehicle in approximately 3.5–4 hours over about 220 km. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator we provide a vetted driver, insured vehicle, and single-party door-to-door service. We don’t run group buses; your transfer departs to suit your schedule and can include requested stops at Edfu or Kom Ombo (entrance fees and extra time apply). Trade-offs: the Nile corridor road can be uneven in places and there is no onboard toilet; rest-stop breaks are included on request. Your driver meets you in the hotel lobby holding a Discovery Tours Egypt name card.

Common questions
Aswan airport transfers, answered
01 How long is the transfer from Aswan Airport to the city hotels? +
About twenty to twenty-five minutes to the cataract and corniche hotels and to the Nile cruise moorings. Island resorts are reached by the hotel's own launch, a short crossing on top of the drive – we factor that in when we time your pickup.
02 Can you take me from Aswan Airport to my Nile cruise? +
Yes – many cruises begin or end in Aswan, and we drive you straight from arrivals to your ship's gangway, about twenty-five minutes. Give us the cruise and the sailing date and the driver will meet your flight and deliver you to the boat.
03 Can you arrange Abu Simbel from Aswan with the transfer? +
Yes. Abu Simbel is about three hours south by road, an early start, and we can have the car and a guide ready straight off a morning flight or from your hotel. Tell us your nights and we'll advise whether the road trip or the short flight suits you better.
04 How much is an Aswan airport transfer? +
Fixed and quoted up front for the whole car, not per person, and modest because the runs are short. Send us your hotel or ship and we'll price the exact route.
05 What if my flight into Aswan is delayed? +
We track it from the moment you book, so the driver follows your actual landing and you won't pay more for a delay outside your control. Your name is on a board in arrivals whenever you walk out.
