Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price work for this private Luxor day?
The price is per person and falls as your party grows, because the guide and vehicle are shared between more people. It includes the flights, transfers, entrance tickets and lunch. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your request, and flight prices can change with the date.02Is the flight direct, and what time do we leave?
It is direct on some days and otherwise connects through Cairo, depending on the airline schedule for your date. The hotel pickup is very early, and our team confirms exact flight and pickup times once your request is accepted, so expect them to vary a little.03How do children and flight seats work?
This is a private trip, so the price for children is shown once you enter their ages in the request. Flights need a seat from age 2, so a child aged 2 or over has a seat on each flight. Enter every child's age when you send the request.04Which visa and documents do I need?
You need a full Egypt visa, not the free Sinai-only stamp, because that stamp does not cover Luxor. Bring your passport on the day for the flights. Also bring a hat, sunscreen, comfortable closed shoes and some cash for optional extras such as the extra-ticket tombs.05What are the cancellation terms?
A full refund applies if you cancel at least 3 days ahead. Cancel between 3 days and 24 hours before and we refund half. Closer than 24 hours, or a no-show, is not refundable. Tell us as early as you can, because the refund depends on how many days remain before the trip starts.06Will the guide and vehicle be only for us?
Yes, your Egyptologist guide and the vehicle in Luxor are private, serving only your party, up to 15 people. Flights are on regular airline services, so you share the aircraft with other passengers. The order of the sites can change with the heat and the crowds.
