Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price work for this safari?
The price is set per person for a shared group of up to 30, and it covers the quad bike, camel ride, dinner, show and stargazing, plus hotel transfers. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your request. Optional extras such as a scarf, goggles and photos are paid at the base.02Where and when is the hotel pickup?
Pickup is at 15:00 from hotels in Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, Nabq, Hadaba and the Old Market. In summer it moves one hour later. Our team confirms the exact time with your hotel name once the request is accepted, and the driver waits in the lobby.03Can children come, and what do they pay?
Children under 2 travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half the adult price, and ages 12 and over pay the adult price. The minimum age for the quad ride is 6. Younger children cannot take part, even sharing a bike. A child aged 6 or over can ride behind an adult on a shared bike.04What should I wear and bring to the desert?
Wear closed shoes and long trousers, and bring sunglasses and a scarf for dust. Once the sun sets the desert gets cool, so pack a warm layer for the dinner and the stargazing. Goggles and scarves are sold at the safari base if you forget.05What if I need to cancel the safari?
A full refund applies if you cancel at least 3 days ahead. Cancel between 3 days and 24 hours before and we refund half. Closer than 24 hours, or a no-show, is not refundable. Tell us as early as you can, because the refund depends on how many days remain before the trip starts.06Is the safari shared or private?
It is shared. You travel and ride with up to 30 other guests in a convoy led by guides. Two people can share one quad bike if they ask, but the camp, the dinner and the show are all shared.
