Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price work for the quad and camel outing?
The price is per person for a shared group of up to 30 and covers the quad bike, helmet, camel ride, tea and transfers. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your request. Scarves, goggles and photos are extras. Two people sharing one bike is possible on request.02When is pickup, and can I choose the time?
There are morning, afternoon and sunset departures, and you pick one in your request. Pickup is from hotels in Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, Nabq, Hadaba and the Old Market, and our team confirms the exact time and meeting point after accepting.03What age can children join, and what do they pay?
Children under 2 travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half the adult price, and ages 12 and over pay the adult price. The minimum age for the quad ride is 6. A child aged 6 or over can ride behind an adult on a shared bike.04What should I wear for the desert?
Wear closed shoes, long trousers and sunglasses, and bring a scarf for dust. Sandals are not suitable. If you choose the sunset departure, add a warm layer, because the air cools once the sun is down. Goggles and scarves are on sale at the base.05What is the cancellation policy?
A full refund applies if you cancel at least 3 days ahead. Cancel between 3 days and 24 hours before and we refund half. Closer than 24 hours, or a no-show, is not refundable. Tell us as early as you can, because the refund depends on how many days remain before the trip starts.06Do we ride as a private group?
No, it is shared. You ride in a convoy with up to 30 guests behind a guide who sets the pace, and the camel ride and tea are shared as well. Two riders can sit on one bike on request, which many parents choose for young children.
