02Overview
A first look
This is a two-day trip from Hurghada to Luxor with one night in a 4-star hotel. A shared air-conditioned vehicle collects you at 05:00 and drives about four hours to Luxor. On day one an Egyptologist guide takes you through Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. On day two you cross to the West Bank early, before the heat, for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then drive back in the afternoon. Entrance tickets, hotel, two lunches, dinner and breakfast are included. It suits travelers who want more time than a day trip allows.
Background
The facts
Luxor is about 280 km from Hurghada, around four hours by road each way. The two-day trip uses one hotel night in Luxor to split the East Bank and West Bank into separate, shorter days.

Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price work for the overnight trip?
The price is per person for a shared vehicle of up to 16 guests and a twin or double room. A single room carries a supplement. Children under 2 travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half and 12 and over pay the adult price. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your request.02Which hotel do we stay in?
You stay one night in a 4-star hotel in Luxor, in a twin or double room. We confirm the hotel by name once your request is accepted. Dinner and breakfast are served there. If you need a single room, there is a supplement that we quote before you pay.03Why is the overnight trip better than a day trip?
You avoid doing eight hours of driving and the whole Luxor program in one day. You see Karnak and Luxor Temple on day one, then the West Bank early on day two, before heat and crowds. That gives you more time at each site and a night's sleep in between.04What should I bring for two days?
Bring an overnight bag, your passport for hotel check-in, a hat, sunscreen and comfortable closed shoes. Cash is useful for drinks and optional tickets such as Tutankhamun's tomb. Pack swimwear if you want to use the hotel pool. Keep the main luggage light, as space in the vehicle is shared.05What if I need to cancel?
More than 72 hours ahead, keep 100% as credit toward future travel or take a 100% refund, less bank charges. Between 72 and 24 hours, keep 100% as credit or take a 50% refund. Within 24 hours, or if you don't show up, there is no refund or credit. If we have to cancel, you lose nothing.06Can I add a hot-air balloon flight?
Yes, as an optional extra on day two, booked ahead and paid separately. It is not included in the price. Balloon flights leave at dawn and depend on the weather, so if you want one, tell us when you send your request and we will check availability with the day program.

HurghadaOrange Bay Snorkeling & Beach Escape – Giftun Island, Hurghada
A day trip from Hurghada to Giftun Island's Orange Bay for snorkeling, swimming, and relaxed beach time on the Red Sea. The boat ride to Orange Bay is approximately 40 minutes each way from Hurghada Marina. We arrange snorkel kit, life jackets, bottled water and a beach lunch; tell us in advance if you need child-size gear. Unlike shore snorkel sites, Giftun's reefs are reached by boat and typically have larger coral gardens and clearer visibility. We schedule morning snorkel slots to avoid the sunniest hours and reduce crowding at reef stops. Trade-offs: limited shade on the beach at midday, possible motion-sickness on choppy days, and higher visitor numbers in high season. Private-boat upgrades, early departures, or shaded-cabin requests are available on request. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and handle hotel pickup from Hurghada on request.
