02Overview
A first look
This is a four-hour city tour of Hurghada by shared minibus. A vehicle collects you from your hotel at 09:00 or 15:00 and a local guide takes you to Al Mina Mosque, the fish market and fishing harbor, the Coptic church of St Shenouda, the old quarter of El Dahar with its souk, and the marina promenade. Bottled water is included, but food, drinks and shopping are not. Dress to cover shoulders and knees for the mosque and church. It suits travelers who want to see the working town beside the resorts, at a gentle pace.

Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price work for the city tour?
The price is per person for a shared minibus of up to 16 guests. Children under 2 travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half and 12 and over pay the adult price. It covers the guide, transfers and water. Food, drinks and shopping are extra. Prices are provisional until our team confirms.02Which departure should I choose, 09:00 or 15:00?
The morning tour is cooler and the fish market is livelier. The afternoon tour avoids the morning rush and ends at the marina in the early evening light. Both cover the same stops. Tell us your preference when you send a request and we confirm what is available.03What should I wear to visit the mosque and the church?
Cover your shoulders and knees. Women should bring a scarf for the mosque. Wear comfortable shoes you can slip off easily at the mosque entrance. Light cotton trousers or a long skirt and a T-shirt with sleeves work well. Keep a small amount of cash in small notes for the souk.04Can we go inside the mosque?
You can see the courtyard and exterior at any time. The interior is open to visitors between prayer times, so the guide plans the visit around them. If it is closed when we arrive, the guide adjusts the order of the stops so you see everything possible.05What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours ahead, keep 100% as credit toward future travel or take a 100% refund, less bank charges. Between 72 and 24 hours, keep 100% as credit or take a 50% refund. Within 24 hours, or if you don't show up, there is no refund or credit. If we have to cancel, you lose nothing.06Is it a private tour or shared?
It is shared. The minibus carries up to 16 guests, who may be collected from different resorts, and you stay with the same guide throughout. The group is small enough to walk through the souk together. A private version is possible if you ask when you send your request.
