02Overview
A first look
This is an eight-hour shared boat trip from Hurghada to the reefs where wild spinner dolphins are often seen. A vehicle collects you from your hotel at 08:00, and the boat sails north for about 90 minutes. Crew and guide watch for dolphins, and guests may snorkel if the animals come close and the sea is calm. There are further snorkeling stops on coral reefs, lunch on board, and mask, snorkel and fins are provided. Sightings are common but never guaranteed. We do not chase, feed or touch the dolphins. Marine park fees are included.

Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does the price work for this dolphin trip?
The price is per person for a shared boat of up to 30 guests. Children under 2 travel free, ages 2 to 11 pay half and 12 and over pay the adult price. It covers transfers, the guide, equipment, lunch and marine park fees. Prices are provisional until our team confirms your request.02Will we definitely see dolphins?
No. The dolphins are wild and sightings are common but never guaranteed. The crew knows where the pods are usually found, but they move, and some days they are far away. We do not chase, feed or touch them, and you only swim with them if they come close and the crew judges it calm.03Can children come, and what about non-swimmers?
Yes, children are welcome on this trip. Non-swimmers can stay on deck and watch for dolphins, and the guide helps weaker swimmers in the water. Small children should stay close to a parent on deck, because the boat moves. Tell us your children's ages in the request so the crew knows.04What should I bring and wear?
Bring swimwear and a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a dry change of clothes. Seasickness tablets help if you need them. Wear light clothing over your swimwear and shoes that are easy to remove. A light jacket is useful on the way back in winter.05What if the weather is bad on the day?
If the port authority closes the sea for weather, we move your trip to another day or refund you.06Is the boat private or shared?
The boat is shared with other guests, up to 30 in total, and you join the same group for sailing, swimming and lunch. Pickup covers several resorts, so the morning includes a few hotel stops. If you want a boat for your party alone, our private charter is the alternative.
