02Overview
A first look
This is a private 3-hour evening tour of Luxor town by horse-drawn carriage. A carriage and guide collect you at 17:30 from your hotel or cruise boat. You ride along the Nile corniche, through the back streets of the old town and the church quarter, then walk through the local market with your guide to see spices, hibiscus and cotton. After tea at a street café, you see Luxor Temple and the Avenue of Sphinxes lit up from the outside. The tour is about the town and its evening life, not a temple visit, so there is no entry ticket. Luxor Temple entry can be added on request.
