02Overview
A first look
This is a private 3-hour quad bike ride on Luxor's West Bank. A driver collects you at 15:00 from your hotel or cruise boat and takes you across to the base. You get a safety briefing and a practice ride, then follow your own guide on a lead quad for about an hour and a half through sugar-cane tracks and along the desert edge. A tea stop gives you a view of the Theban hills, and the ride back is timed for sunset. Only your party rides, so the pace suits you. Each rider has a quad of their own, and you need no experience. Children can come as passengers from age 6.

Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How is this private ride priced?
The price is per person and covers the transfers, a quad for each rider, helmet and scarf, your private guide, tea and water. Children riding as passengers are priced from the ages you give in your request. Prices are provisional until our team confirms.02Do I need experience to ride a quad?
No. You get a safety briefing and a practice ride on a flat track before you leave. Your guide leads at a steady pace, and you can stop if you feel unsure.03What is the minimum age?
Children must be at least 6 to come along as a passenger. Each rider has their own quad, so a child passenger sits with an adult rider. Please tell us the ages of your children when you book.04What should we wear and bring?
Wear closed shoes, long trousers and clothes you do not mind getting dusty. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and cash for tips. Helmet and scarf are provided.05What is the cancellation policy?
A cancellation made three days or more ahead is paid back in full. One made inside three days but outside 24 hours is paid back by half. A later one, or a missed pick-up, is not refunded. Tell us early about any change.06Is this a private or shared trip?
It is private. Only your own party rides, behind your own guide, and the maximum party size is 8. You can ask for a slower pace or an extra photo stop.

LuxorLuxor Hot Air Balloon Sunrise Flight
We arrange a pre-dawn hot-air balloon flight over Luxor, including hotel pickup and the ride back to your hotel in time for breakfast there. Flights typically run before sunrise and last about 45–60 minutes. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator we book locally licensed balloon operators and organize direct transfers to the launch field rather than moving groups by coach. Unlike mass-market vendors that squeeze launches into busy timetables, we prioritise launch timing and site choice to maximise views of the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Nile. Trade-offs: early start (hotel pickup around 4:00–4:30 AM), weather-dependent cancellations, and occasionally bumpy landings.
