Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How does booking work?
You book online and we then check flight seats for your date. No payment is taken until we confirm, usually within one business day. If seats are not available, we offer you another date or a different option.02How is this private trip priced?
The price is per person and covers the return flights, the transfers, the Egyptologist in Cairo, the entrance tickets and lunch. It goes down a little as your group grows, since the vehicle and guide are shared. Prices are provisional until our team confirms.03Are the flights included?
Yes, return economy flights between Luxor and Cairo are included. Flight times follow the airline schedule on your date. You need your passport for both flights.04What if a flight is delayed or changed?
Domestic flights can shift. We watch the schedule and contact you if times change. Your driver and guide adjust the day, though a long delay may shorten your time at the sites.05What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours ahead, keep 100% as credit toward future travel or take a 100% refund, less bank charges. Between 72 and 24 hours, keep 100% as credit or take a 50% refund. Within 24 hours, or if you don't show up, there is no refund or credit. If we have to cancel, you lose nothing.06Is this trip private, or will others join us?
In Cairo it is private. Only your own party travels in the vehicle, and the Egyptologist guides only you. The maximum party size is 12.

Deir el-Medina and Tombs of the Nobles Half-Day Tour
Explore two distinct parts of Luxor’s West Bank with a private Egyptologist guide. Deir el-Medina was the village of the workers who built and decorated royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens. The nearby Tombs of the Nobles are decorated burial places belonging to officials and other members of elite society in ancient Thebes. The contrast is the focus: one site preserves evidence of the workers’ community, while the other shows the tomb art and status of Theban nobles. Unlike a broad West Bank itinerary, this half-day visit concentrates on these two archaeological sites. A private vehicle provides pickup and drop-off at your Luxor hotel or Nile cruise.

LuxorKarnak Temple Sound & Light Show, Luxor
The Karnak Temple Sound & Light Show presents narrated lighting across the Karnak complex in Luxor, with standard site entry and an evening performance. Karnak is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Ancient Thebes with its Necropolis" (inscribed 1979). The presentation is theatrical rather than archaeological: timed lighting and scripted narration outline pharaohs, construction phases, and temple rituals. We treat the Sound & Light show as an optional evening activity rather than a default in our day tours, because it requires a late return. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and can reserve seats and arrange transfers from central Luxor hotels. Trade-offs: seating can be limited, the site has stairs and uneven stone, and the late-evening schedule can be tiring after a full day. Standard Karnak entry is included; premium archaeological commentary is not part of the theatrical script.

LuxorLuxor Hot Air Balloon Sunrise Flight
We arrange a pre-dawn hot-air balloon flight over Luxor, including hotel pickup and the ride back to your hotel in time for breakfast there. Flights typically run before sunrise and last about 45–60 minutes. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator we book locally licensed balloon operators and organize direct transfers to the launch field rather than moving groups by coach. Unlike mass-market vendors that squeeze launches into busy timetables, we prioritise launch timing and site choice to maximise views of the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Nile. Trade-offs: early start (hotel pickup around 4:00–4:30 AM), weather-dependent cancellations, and occasionally bumpy landings.
