02Overview
A first look
This is a private two-day trip from Cairo into the Western Desert. A driver collects you at 07:00 from your Cairo or Giza hotel, and the drive to Bahariya Oasis takes about four to five hours. After lunch in Bahariya, you change to a 4x4 with a local desert driver-guide and visit the Black Desert and Crystal Mountain, then reach the White Desert for sunset among the chalk formations. You camp there for the night, with dinner by the fire. On day 2 you watch the sunrise, have breakfast at the camp, and drive back to Bahariya by 4x4, then on to Cairo, arriving in the late afternoon. The camping is simple: tents, mattresses, sleeping bags and blankets, no showers and a basic toilet arrangement. Nights are cold in winter. This trip is by request. You send us your dates, and our team confirms the camp, the 4x4 and the final price before any payment.

Detailed itinerary
- 1
Your driver meets you at your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 07:00. The road to Bahariya Oasis takes about four to five hours, with a rest stop. Keep your passport with you, because it is checked at desert checkpoints.
- 2
At about 12:30 you have lunch in Bahariya, then change to a 4x4 with a local desert driver-guide. Your Cairo driver stays in the oasis.
- 3
At about 14:00 you drive into the desert to the Black Desert, where dark rock covers pale sand, and to Crystal Mountain. The route can change with the weather or with permits.
- 4
At about 16:30 you reach the White Desert and walk among the chalk formations as the light changes. The shapes are made by wind over many years.
- 5
In the evening the camp is set up in the White Desert. Dinner is cooked and eaten by the fire, and you sleep in a tent on a mattress with a sleeping bag and blankets. There are no showers and the toilet arrangement is basic. The night can be very cold in winter, so wear warm layers.
- 6
At about 06:00 you watch the sunrise among the formations, then have breakfast at the camp.
- 7
At about 09:00 you drive back to Bahariya by 4x4, and at about 11:00 you join your Cairo driver for the road to Cairo. You arrive in the late afternoon, depending on traffic.

Alexandria Overnight Tour from Cairo
We transfer you from Cairo to Alexandria by private car, include one hotel night, and guided visits to Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Qaitbay Citadel. The drive is about 220 km (roughly 2.5–3 hours) depending on Cairo traffic. Unlike rushed single-day coach tours, our overnight schedule lets you visit the library at opening and see Kom el-Dikka and Kom el-Shoqafa without a late return to Cairo. Our Egyptologist accompanies the visits; our driver meets you in Cairo and handles transfers and luggage. Standard site entrance fees are included; optional extras or special-permit access are charged separately. Trade-offs: an early departure and roughly 220 km of driving each way.

CairoCoptic Cairo Half-Day Tour
This private half-day tour visits Coptic Cairo's core sites: the Hanging Church, Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Coptic Museum. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and provide a private guide and air-conditioned minivan with hotel pickup in central Cairo. We don't run group bus tours; our itineraries avoid coach arrivals and allow 45–60 minutes in the Coptic Museum. Unlike combined pyramid-and-Coptic half-days, this keeps focus on Old Cairo so each site is seen at a measured pace. Trade-offs: limited shade, modest dress is required for religious sites, and some churches have low ceilings and stairs. The tour lasts about 3–4 hours.

CairoPyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum, Cairo Day Tour
See the Giza pyramid complex, the Great Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum in a private day tour from Cairo. We meet you in your hotel lobby and the drive to the Giza Plateau typically takes 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. Our Egyptologist accompanies you at Giza, explaining Khufu and Khafre and guiding your route across the plateau. We assign a private Egyptologist rather than a generalist guide, and we avoid large shared coaches so you keep flexibility on timing. Unlike many coach day trips, we allot 90–120 minutes on the plateau. Standard site entrance fees are included; pyramid interiors (Khufu/Khafre), premium tombs, and gratuities are excluded unless requested. Expect limited shade at midday and walking on uneven ancient stone; camel rides are optional and commonly paid locally. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and handle transfers, timing and museum access to reduce line time.
