02Overview
A first look
This is a private horse ride of about three hours door to door, for beginners and experienced riders. A driver collects you at 15:00 from your Cairo or Giza hotel and takes you to the stables near the plateau. A stable guide matches a horse to your riding level, and you ride for about an hour and a half in the desert beside the Giza Plateau with the Pyramids in view. The ride is outside the ticketed site, so it does not include entry to the plateau. Afterward you have tea at the stables, and the driver returns you to your hotel between about 18:00 and 18:30. A morning start is also possible if you ask. When you book, please tell us each rider's height, weight and riding experience. You can book online and get instant confirmation.
Background
The facts

Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How is this private trip priced?
The price is per person, and it falls as the group grows, because the vehicle, driver and stable guide are shared. It covers the transfers, the horse, the helmet and tea. You see the exact price for your group size when you choose your date.02How do I book this trip?
You can book it online and get instant confirmation. Choose your date and group size, and tell us each rider's height, weight and riding experience so we can match the horses. Then pay at checkout.03Do I need riding experience?
No. Beginners are welcome, and the guide matches a horse to your level and keeps the pace gentle. Experienced riders can ask for a livelier horse. Tell us your experience when you book, and we pass it on to the stable.04Do you look after the horses?
We use stables we know, and we ask you to tell us if anything looks wrong, whether it is the condition of a horse, the tack or how the horses are treated. We follow up on every comment.05Is the Giza Plateau ticket included?
No. The ride is in the desert beside the plateau, not inside the ticketed site, so you see the Pyramids from outside. If you also want to enter the plateau, ask us about a separate tour.06What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel three days or more before the trip, you get a full refund. If you cancel less than three days but more than 24 hours before, half is refunded. After that, or if you miss the pick-up, there is no refund.
