02Overview
A first look
This is a short add-on, not a full tour. During your Giza Pyramids tour, your guide walks you to the camel handlers on the plateau. You then ride for about 20 minutes with the handler leading your camel and the pyramids in view. After the ride you rejoin your guide and carry on with the tour. The add-on has no transport, guide or plateau ticket of its own, so you need a Giza tour booked with us first. The price is per person, and children pay less. Because it depends on your tour, we confirm it on request. For a longer private ride with hotel pick-up at sunset, we run a separate trip.
Background
The facts
The Giza Plateau lies on the western edge of Cairo and holds the Pyramids of Giza. A camel handler leads short rides on the plateau, with the pyramids in view.

Frequent questions
01How is this add-on priced?
It is a flat price per person, and children pay a lower price. The price does not change with group size. It covers the camel and handler for about 20 minutes, and nothing else. The price shows when you request the add-on.02How do I book this add-on?
It is on request. Tell us which Giza Pyramids tour you booked with us and how many people want to ride. We then confirm the add-on with you. You cannot book it on its own, because it has no transport or guide.03Is the Giza Plateau ticket included?
No. The add-on has no entry ticket of its own. The ticket, the transport and your guide all come with the Giza tour you add the ride to.04How long is the ride?
About 20 minutes. A handler leads the camel the whole way, and you keep the pyramids in view. After the ride you rejoin your guide and continue with your tour.05What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to three days before. If you cancel less than three days but at least one day before, half is refunded. After that, there is no refund.06Is this shared, or private?
It is a shared experience, with up to 10 people in a group. Each person has one camel. It is part of your Giza tour, so you stay with your own party and guide the rest of the time.

CairoCoptic Cairo Half-Day Tour
This private half-day tour visits Coptic Cairo's core sites: the Hanging Church, Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Coptic Museum. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and provide a private guide and air-conditioned minivan with hotel pickup in central Cairo. We don't run group bus tours; our itineraries avoid coach arrivals and allow 45–60 minutes in the Coptic Museum. Unlike combined pyramid-and-Coptic half-days, this keeps focus on Old Cairo so each site is seen at a measured pace. Trade-offs: limited shade, modest dress is required for religious sites, and some churches have low ceilings and stairs. The tour lasts about 3–4 hours.
