Best time to go
From October to April the evenings are cooler and the view is clearer. In summer, an evening outing is easier than the heat of the day.

02Overview
A first look
This is a private evening trip around Cairo that lasts about four hours. A driver and an English-speaking escort collect you at 18:30 from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. At about 19:15 you reach the Cairo Tower on Gezira Island and ride up to the observation deck. Around 20:15 you drive along the Nile corniche and over Qasr El Nil Bridge. At about 20:45 you sit down to dinner at a local restaurant. The driver takes you back to your hotel between about 22:00 and 22:30. This is not a history tour, and there is no Egyptologist guide. Your escort comes from our Cairo office and keeps the evening running smoothly. You can book online at least 48 hours ahead.
Background
The facts
The Cairo Tower stands on Gezira Island in the middle of the Nile. A private evening trip links it with a drive along the Nile corniche and across Qasr El Nil Bridge, then dinner at a local restaurant.

Children & families
Children's prices depend on the ages you give when you book. The evening ends between about 22:00 and 22:30, so it suits school-age children who can stay up late. Very young children may find the lift queue and the late dinner tiring.
Indicative rates only – pricing and departure fluctuate. Please enquire for live rates on your specific dates.
Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How is this private trip priced?
You pay per person, and the price drops as the group gets bigger, because the vehicle and driver are shared by more people. The price covers the transfers, the escort, the Cairo Tower ticket and dinner. When you pick your date and group size, the exact price appears before you pay.02How do I book this trip?
You can book it online. Choose your date and the number of travelers, then add your hotel name. Please book at least 48 hours before the evening you want, so we can arrange the driver and escort.03Is there a guide on this trip?
There is an English-speaking escort from our Cairo office, not an Egyptologist guide. The escort looks after the timing, the tower ticket and the dinner, and answers your questions about the city. If you want a lot of history, a day tour suits you better.04What does the dinner include?
Dinner is a set meal at a local restaurant, and it is paid for in your booking. Drinks are not included, so you pay for those at the table. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book.05What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel up to three days before the trip, you get a full refund. If you cancel less than three days but at least one day before, half is refunded. After that, there is no refund.06Is this trip private, or will others join us?
It is private. Only your own party rides in the vehicle and sits at your table. The largest group is 12 people. Because it is private, we can talk with you about the timing before you go.

CairoGrand Egyptian Museum Half-Day Tour
This half-day tour visits the Grand Egyptian Museum's core galleries, including the Tutankhamun collection, in a focused three-hour visit. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and our Egyptologist guides explain the chronology of objects and the funerary assemblages on display. We treat GEM as a stand-alone visit rather than bundling it with the Giza Plateau; that lets our Egyptologist explain objects without rushing. Unlike large coach tours, we keep the itinerary to highlights and allow time for questions. Trade-offs: three hours cannot cover every gallery; guests wanting detailed study should upgrade to a full-day option. Private hotel transfer and standard entrance fees are included; special-access areas or premium exhibits are excluded unless requested.

CairoPyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum, Cairo Day Tour
See the Giza pyramid complex, the Great Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum in a private day tour from Cairo. We meet you in your hotel lobby and the drive to the Giza Plateau typically takes 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. Our Egyptologist accompanies you at Giza, explaining Khufu and Khafre and guiding your route across the plateau. We assign a private Egyptologist rather than a generalist guide, and we avoid large shared coaches so you keep flexibility on timing. Unlike many coach day trips, we allot 90–120 minutes on the plateau. Standard site entrance fees are included; pyramid interiors (Khufu/Khafre), premium tombs, and gratuities are excluded unless requested. Expect limited shade at midday and walking on uneven ancient stone; camel rides are optional and commonly paid locally. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator and handle transfers, timing and museum access to reduce line time.
