02Overview
A first look
If you would rather drive than sit on a camel, this is the desert ride for you. A driver collects you from your Cairo or Giza hotel at about 14:30. Morning and sunset starts are also possible, so tell us what you prefer. At the quad base you get a helmet, a safety briefing and a practice lap, and then you follow a lead rider into the desert for about an hour, with stops where the pyramids come into view. Afterwards there is tea at the base, and you are back at your hotel between 17:00 and 17:30. The ride is in the desert beside the Giza Plateau. It does not go inside the ticketed pyramid site, and entry to the plateau is not included. Riders must be at least 16. You send us a request, and our team confirms availability and the final price before you pay anything.
Background
The facts
The desert beside the Giza Plateau, on the western edge of Cairo, has open sand and low dunes with views of the three main pyramids. Quad rides run there in the morning, afternoon and at sunset.

Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01How do I book this trip?
You send us a request with your date, group size, the ages of all riders and your hotel. Our team checks availability and confirms the final price with you. You do not pay anything until that is agreed.02How is this private trip priced?
The price is per person, and it falls as the group grows, because the vehicle and driver are shared. It covers the transfers, a quad bike for about one hour, the lead rider, helmet, briefing and tea. The final price is confirmed by our team once we know your group size.03What is the minimum age?
Every rider must be at least 16. This is for safety, and we cannot make exceptions. A younger family member cannot ride, but can come along in the vehicle if you tell us in your request.04Do we go inside the pyramid site?
No. The ride takes place in the desert beside the Giza Plateau, not inside the ticketed site. You see the pyramids from the sand, and entry to the plateau is not included.05What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel three days or more before the trip, you get a full refund. If you cancel less than three days but more than 24 hours before, half is refunded. After that, or if you miss the pick-up, there is no refund.06Is this trip private, or will others join us?
It is private. Only your own party rides in the vehicle and follows the lead rider. The maximum party is 10 people, and each rider has their own quad.
