1. 01 How long is the drive from Aswan hotel to Aswan Airport?

   Drive time is typically 25–40 minutes from central Aswan hotels to Aswan International Airport (ASW). Traffic, cruise-dock checkpoints, and flight-type (domestic versus international) affect total time. Allow extra time for luggage handling and airline check-in: we recommend being ready to depart your hotel at least 90 minutes before domestic flights and 2–3 hours before international flights, depending on airline rules.
2. 02 Can you pick me up from my Nile cruise boat for my flight?

   Yes – we arrange private transfers from Nile cruise docks in Aswan to Aswan Airport. We meet at the cruise gangway once the ship’s crew clears passenger disembarkation; timing depends on the ship’s checkout procedures. Tell us your cruise name and expected gangway time when you book so we can liaise with the cruise purser; unlike large coach services, we keep transfers private and door-to-door.

   If your flight is delayed, we will adjust pickup and hold the vehicle within reasonable local waiting limits. If a flight is cancelled or rebooked, notify us as soon as possible so we can reschedule the transfer; additional waiting time or a new pickup outside the original window may incur extra charges. For missed connections we can assist with finding the quickest available transport, but we cannot change airline schedules.
4. 04 How do I find my driver at Aswan Airport or the cruise dock?

   Our driver meets you in arrivals or at the cruise gangway holding a name card with your name and Discovery Tours Egypt. Discovery Tours Egypt is a licensed Egyptian tour operator and our drivers will call the phone number you provide if there is any delay. At Aswan Airport wait in the arrivals hall after passport control and baggage claim; at cruise docks wait near the assigned gangway unless the ship’s staff direct otherwise.
5. 05 Are child seats or booster seats available for transfers?

   Yes – child seats and boosters are available on request; please request them at time of booking. Availability is limited, so specify child ages and number of seats when you reserve the transfer. For safety we fit the correct restraint for age and size and will confirm whether an additional vehicle is needed for large parties with multiple child seats.
6. 06 What size vehicles do you use for private transfers to Aswan Airport?

   We provide air-conditioned sedans, SUVs, and minivans matched to passenger count and luggage. Tell us the number of passengers and large suitcases so we assign the correct vehicle; sedans suit one to three passengers, minivans are used for groups with multiple large bags.
