15-Day Nile Cruises
Fifteen days, fourteen nights aboard, is the longest sailing we book, and it is a private dahabiya charter from start to finish. The distance is the same Luxor–Aswan corridor as the shorter cruises; what changes is that nothing is rushed and nothing is skipped. You give two or three days to Luxor alone, stop at every quarry and minor temple between the banks, take two full days at Aswan, then sail the whole stretch back north with unscheduled days built in for swimming, reading, and mooring wherever the light is good. Every 15-day charter here includes a private Egyptologist guide, all admissions, full board, and transfers.

What is a 15-days Nile cruise?
A 15-day Nile cruise is a fourteen-night private dahabiya charter on the Luxor–Aswan stretch, the most leisurely way to sail the river. It covers the complete temple sequence in both directions, adds every secondary site that the standard cruises pass, and leaves several days entirely open for sailing and quiet moorings. It is a charter rather than a scheduled departure: you take the whole boat, set the pace, and the river becomes the vacation rather than a leg of one.

What travelers ask about this style of tour.
01Who is a 15-day Nile cruise for?
A 15-day cruise, fourteen nights aboard, is for returning travelers, slow-travel couples, and families or groups chartering a whole dahabiya. It is the river as the destination, not a segment of a wider Egypt trip. First-time visitors who want the Pyramids, Cairo, and the Nile in one trip are better served by a 5-day cruise inside a seven- to ten-day itinerary.
02Does a 15-day cruise go further than the shorter ones?
No, and that is the point. A 15-day sailing covers the same Luxor–Aswan corridor as the 5-day cruise; the extra days buy pace and privacy, not extra distance. You stop at every minor temple and quarry, take whole days at leisure, and sail the stretch in both directions. If you want to go further south, that is Lake Nasser, a separate sailing we book alongside.
03How much does a 15-day Nile cruise cost?
A 15-day cabin on a shared dahabiya starts around $4,800 per person, all-inclusive of full board, Egyptologist guiding, and every admission. A whole-boat charter for two weeks runs from the mid five figures upward, depending on the vessel and the number of cabins, and is the usual way families and groups book this length.
04Can I charter the whole boat for 15 days?
Yes, and most 15-day bookings are whole-boat charters. You take every cabin, set the daily pace, add or drop temple stops, and moor where you like. A typical dahabiya sleeps six to twelve, which suits a family group or a set of traveling couples. Tell us the party size and dates and we will match the vessel and quote the charter.
