You arrive in Cairo and, after a private transfer from your hotel, take an evening Nile River dinner cruise along the Cairo Corniche. Your Egyptologist briefs you on Cairo's 19th and 20th century development before boarding. The cruise includes a plated dinner and a short live performance of Tanoura dance and Arabic music while the city lights pass Giza on the skyline.
We schedule the transfer to the quay after 19:00 to avoid peak evening traffic in central Cairo.

Morning begins at the Giza Pyramids Complex with your Egyptologist explaining the three main pyramids, including Khufu, and the Sphinx. Midday transfer to the Grand Egyptian Museum for a guided walk through the Tutankhamun galleries and modern exhibition halls. In the late afternoon drive to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, designed by Imhotep around 2670 BCE.
Unlike express city tours, we allocate uninterrupted time at each site. We do not include Khufu pyramid interior tickets by default, many travelers prefer to decide on the day.

Late afternoon is a guided walk along Al Muizz Street through medieval monuments, finishing with free time in Khan El Khalili bazaar. We schedule relaxed visit lengths rather than rushing each site.

Morning quad safari along the Red Sea coast explores Eastern Desert sand tracks and a Bedouin wadi. After a 30-minute transfer from your Hurghada hotel, a local team provides helmets, a safety briefing and route instructions, then you ride for about three hours with short photo stops at desert viewpoints. Return to Hurghada by mid-afternoon for free time on the Corniche or at your hotel.
We schedule morning starts to avoid midday heat, a practice many operators do not follow.

In the morning you transfer to Hurghada Marina for a two-hour boat ride to Giftun Island, where you spend the late morning snorkelling over coral gardens in the Red Sea. Your guide explains reef ecology and points out common species such as clownfish and parrotfish. Snorkelling equipment and a safety brief are provided by the licensed boat crew.

This morning you fly from Hurghada to Cairo, a scheduled domestic flight of about one hour. On arrival at Cairo International Airport your Egyptologist meets you and we arrange a private transfer to your included hotel, with time to rest or explore central Cairo in the afternoon. We aim for mid-morning flights to avoid pre-dawn transfers and reduce early starts.
Unlike overnight coach journeys, the short flight returns you to Cairo quickly, leaving the afternoon free for optional sightseeing or hotel check-in.

Morning visit to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, where your Egyptologist explains highlights such as Tutankhamun’s funerary objects and the New Kingdom galleries. After a short break for lunch, spend the afternoon walking through Khan el-Khalili, the market established in the 14th century, with time to visit Al-Hussein Mosque from the outside.
The day includes private transfers between sites and opportunities to pause for photography and rest. We do not run group bus tours, so this day is paced for small groups rather than rushed coach arrivals.

Vehicles are standard-height, air-conditioned minibuses with step-up entry, not coach-level low floors. The Hurghada snorkelling excursion and quad safari require transfers over sandy terrain and short transfers by boat. Wheelchairs can be used for transfers and in hotels, but site access is limited: Khufu pyramid interior and many tombs have narrow passages and stairs, and some temple approaches have steps without ramps. If you use a mobility scooter, bring a compact manual wheelchair for site visits. We arrange all ground transport in modern, air-conditioned minibuses that typically seat 16 passengers or fewer, leased from local transport companies. The Cairo to Hurghada sector is flown on domestic carriers; we book direct flights to reduce overall travel time. The snorkelling excursion and quad safari are operated by licensed local suppliers: the snorkelling uses small motorboats run by Hurghada boat operators, and the quad safari uses petrol ATVs operated by a licensed desert tour company. We deliberately contract local Egyptologists, drivers and activity teams to direct income to the communities where the tours run. Where possible we request reusable water-bottle refill points at hotels, and we ask suppliers to follow waste separation on boats and at picnic stops.
