Children under 2 travel free when sharing a seat with an adult; children age 2 to 11 are usually offered a reduced child rate, while guests 12 and over are charged the adult price. Strollers are usable in parts of the Grand Egyptian Museum but are difficult on the Giza Plateau where compacted sand and steps are present.
