Aswan is the southern terminus of the route, and transfers are typically arranged to Aswan Airport or a booked hotel after the final overnight stay.

We use air-conditioned coaches for the road transfers between Luxor and Aswan, typically modern coaches meeting local emissions standards. Short water transfers to Agilkia Island and other river landings are with licensed local motorboats; the optional felucca sail is operated by local boatmen using traditional craft. We contract local Egyptologists, drivers and boat crews directly, paying locally agreed rates and using nearby hotels and restaurants en route to support regional businesses. To reduce single-use plastic we encourage guests to bring refillable bottles; coaches carry sealed drinking water on request. Where possible we time visits to reduce waiting at sensitive sites and brief guests on staying on marked paths to protect surfaces and archaeological features.
