Asked & answered
Frequent questions
01What is included in the 3-Day Cairo Land Package?
The package includes private airport transfers, hotel arrival assistance, a licensed Egyptologist guide, and standard site entrance fees unless stated otherwise. We do not run large coach tours; we operate with private cars and licensed Egyptologists to keep timing flexible. International flights, Khufu pyramid interior tickets, premium-gallery or private-collection surcharges, and gratuities are not included unless we list them. Tell us your arrival flight details so we can confirm pickup and any early-arrival hotel check-in.02Does the package include entry inside the Great Pyramid (Khufu)?
No – the Khufu pyramid interior ticket is not included in the standard package. The interior involves narrow, low-ceiling passages and limited ventilation, so we recommend it only for those comfortable with confined spaces. We can add the Khufu interior ticket and timed entry on request, subject to availability and the Ministry of Antiquities rules. If you want the interior, request it when you book so we can reserve the slot.03How do airport pickups and transfers work with the 3-Day Cairo package?
Your driver meets you in Cairo International arrivals with a name card and provides private vehicle transfers for the three days. We collect your flight details ahead of arrival to monitor delays and adjust pickup; drivers assist with luggage and hotel formalities. As a licensed Egyptian tour operator we use vetted, insured vehicles and local drivers to avoid taxi negotiation and parking issues. If your flight changes, notify us and we will reconfirm the meet time.04What should I wear at mosques and the Egyptian Museum?
Modest dress is required at mosques: shoulders and knees covered; women should carry a headscarf for the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Some mosques require removing shoes; bring socks if you prefer not to walk barefoot on stone floors. The Egyptian Museum and secular sites are casual but expect hot sun on open sites, so light fabrics, a sunhat, and sunscreen are practical. During Ramadan some mosque visiting hours change and non-Muslim visitors should check timings in advance.05Is Cairo safe for solo travelers and families?
Cairo is generally safe for tourists who follow standard precautions and stay with their guides or in licensed vehicles. Crowded areas such as Khan el-Khalili have a higher pickpocket risk; keep valuables secure and avoid unmarked taxis. We arrange private transfers and vetted drivers, provide emergency contact numbers, and can adjust itineraries for earlier or later departures to reduce street crowds. Carry photocopies of travel documents and a charged phone with local emergency numbers.06How much walking and stairs are involved in the 3-Day Cairo Land Package?
Expect moderate walking on uneven pavement, sand near the Giza Plateau, and stairs inside some museum galleries. The Giza Plateau has uneven ancient stone and loose sand; the Egyptian Museum has staircases and some narrow display corridors. If you use a wheelchair, note there are limited ramps at older sites and some historic buildings are not fully step-free; we can tailor the pace and provide more rests or arrange a private vehicle close to entrances. Bring comfortable closed shoes and a sun hat for daytime legs.
