Sonesta Amirat Dahabiya
Sail from Luxor to Aswan aboard the Sonesta Amirat Dahabiya, calling at El Kab, Edfu, Gebel El Silsila, Kom Ombo, Daraw, and Philae. The route focuses on short, purposeful stops that let you walk ashore in small riverside villages and inspect sandstone quarries, cliff-cut tombs, and riverside temples with time to spare. Unlike large cruise ships, the dahabiya moors overnight close to village landing stages, which reduces bus transfers and creates quieter evenings on deck. We prefer dahabiyas because they reach places larger vessels cannot, and this itinerary schedules longer visits at Edfu and Kom Ombo than most packaged cruises. We are a licensed Egyptian tour operator; contact us to tailor the cruise, add pre- or post-cruise hotel nights, or arrange an early-morning balloon flight in Luxor.
