What To Expect
Luxor – Esna Embarkation
Arrive in Luxor and meet your expert Egyptologist guide. Transfer in a private vehicle to Esna, where you board the Abydos Dahabiya. Enjoy a welcome lunch as you begin your peaceful journey south. Settle into your elegant cabin, relax on the deck, and watch the sun set over the Nile, feeling the gentle breeze and the promise of adventure ahead.
El Kab & Edfu Temple
Wake to the soft light of morning on the river. Visit the ancient necropolis of El Kab, then sail to Edfu. Explore the stunning Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved monuments, with your Egyptologist sharing its secrets. Return to the dahabiya for a restful evening near a quiet riverside village, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Gebel El Silsila – Sandstone Quarries & Riverside Dinner
Sail to the mystical site of Gebel El Silsila, where pharaohs once quarried stone for their temples. Wander among the ancient quarries and feel the history beneath your feet.
