What To Expect
Day 1: Marsa Alam to Luxor – Karnak, Valley of the Kings & Aswan
Your journey begins before dawn as you leave Marsa Alam in a private car, watching the desert shift from darkness to gold. In Luxor, you walk beneath the soaring columns of Karnak Temple, feeling the weight of centuries in every stone. After a riverside lunch, you descend into the Valley of the Kings, where the air is cool and the walls glow with ancient colors, including the legendary tomb of Tutankhamon. The story continues at Queen Hatshepsut’s elegant temple and the towering Colossi of Memnon, before you travel south to Aswan for a restful night at the Basma Hotel.
Day 2: Abu Simbel, Philae Temple & Return to Marsa Alam
Before sunrise, you set out for Abu Simbel. The colossal statues of Ramses II greet you with quiet power, their faces glowing in the early light. Inside, the carvings tell stories of gods and queens. After returning to Aswan, you cruise by motorboat to Philae Temple, where the island breeze carries the scent of the river and the sound of birds. You visit the High Dam and see the Unfinished Obelisk, then relax as your private car returns you to Marsa Alam, your mind full of Egypt’s timeless beauty.
