Your journey begins in Cairo, where you’ll witness the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids of Giza, the last standing monument of the ancient seven wonders of the world. From there, you’ll travel to Aswan via a comfortable sleeper train.

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our tour manager will be there to greet you and assist you through the arrival procedures. You’ll then be whisked away to your hotel in Cairo in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, our tour manager will facilitate a seamless check-in process and go over your vacation itinerary with you to set up and confirm the pick-up times for each tour. Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Cairo before checking out. Your personal tour guide will then escort you to the Giza Plateau. Here, you’ll visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus. You’ll also see the famous Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Next, you’ll head to the Egyptian Museum where you can marvel at the magnificent ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures. If time permits, you’ll be driven to Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest bazaar, for a unique shopping experience. Later in the day, you’ll be transferred to the Giza train station to catch the sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan. Aboard the train, you’ll be served dinner and breakfast in the comfort of your compartment. Overnight accommodations will be inside your compartment on the train. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. You’ll also visit the massive Unfinished Obelisk, a monumental construction that still lies in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Start your day with a leisurely breakfast on board. After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and embark on a wonderful tour of the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor. Here, you’ll visit the magnificent Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Next, you’ll cross over to the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor. Here, you’ll explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Later in the day, you’ll head to the Luxor train station to catch the sleeper train back to Cairo. Aboard the train, you’ll be served dinner in the comfort of your compartment. Egyptian trains are designed and maintained according to standards of quality determined by the Egyptian Railway Authority. The sleeper train journey from Cairo to Aswan takes about 14 hours, and the journey from Luxor to Cairo takes about 11 hours. To reduce time spent traveling, you can upgrade your trip package for about $255 per person to travel by domestic flight instead, which takes about 1.5 hours. This allows for more time to explore, and less time spent on travel. Please note that the upgrade is subject to availability and prices may vary.
